CORE Immediate - Adult
CORE Immediate - Adult is for rescuers who might be expected to manage the early stages of cardiac arrest. CORE Immediate – Adult includes adult collapse management.
Description
CORE Immediate - Adult is the minimum standard for registered and non-registered dental professionals who are performing the 1st Assistant role, or the sedation team member who will monitor-only the sedated patient.
This course is also suitable for dentists that are delivering relative analgesia.

- Scenarios - Adult Collapse and Medical Emergencies
There is no written assessment for CORE Immediate - Adult.
CORE Immediate learners should have access to Resuscitation – A Guide for Health Professionals at least one week before their face-to-face training. This manual contains the theory and knowledge directly applicable to the course and is available from the New Zealand Resuscitation Council.
CORE Immediate - Adult and Child is also available, which runs over 6 hours.
