Electronic pre-reading will be provided by Emcare.

The Dental Modular Certificate Course Level 4 (DMCC4) is a combination of pre-reading, skills development and practical assessment. Electronic pre-reading will be provided by Emcare. DMCC4 is the required level of training for: • Dentists/Dental Specialists - not performing sedation • Dental Therapists, Dental Hygienists, Orthodontic Auxiliaries, Clinical Dental Technicians • Dental Technicians undertaking restricted activities

The course curriculum assumes that you know and understand Basic Life Support and that you have professional training in a health care related profession such as medicine or nursing. The CORE Advanced course is run over a full day. NZRC CORE Advanced will meet all requirements for medical personnel and is required for GP Fellowship. NZRC CORE Advanced is the current standard for Dentists performing oral or intravenous sedation (excluding Relative Analgesia).
